The Parkertown Volunteer Fire Company #1 has been serving the Parkertown section of Little Egg Harbor Township and its surrounding areas since 1930. Our fire district is bordered by Eagleswood Township on the north, the bay on the east, Warren Grove on the west, and Tuckerton on the south. The district is primarily wooded with two deed restricted communities in the middle of the district. The fire company is responsible to service some areas of Route 9, the county road 539, and the parkway that run through the township.
The Parkertown Fire Company has two engines, a ladder truck, a tanker,an ambulance,a mini-bus, a mini pumper, a boat, two chiefs trucks and a utility vehicle that serve the district. The Parkertown Fire Company with all of its members has strived to be a progressive and forward thinking department throughout the years. We currently have about 50 members in the fire company and are always looking to add more if you are interested in joining or have any questions please check out our recruitment section.
